Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actor. Known for her performances across the screen and stage, she has received various awards, including an Academy Award a British Academy Film Award as well as a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney is a well-known actress who spent over 20 years in the regional theatre. She became famous for her role as White House press secretary C.J. Gregg on the well-known and critically acclaimed TV drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney is a natural late bloomer.
