Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical drama The Resident. Her breakthrough role in the role of Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She is also filming for an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
