Zazie Beetz was born in 1991 was born in Berlin. Her father is an German cabinet maker, who immigrated into USA in 1990. United States in 1990 after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker in New York. She attended at the same school with Jennifer Aniston. Beetz attended Skidmore College to study French after completing LaGuardia. After graduating from college Beetz was able to immediately begin auditioning and was offered the part in the role of Van on the set of Atlanta. Beetz, who was born in Berlin and was raised by a German-American father and an African American mother living in New York, spoke both German as well as English when she lived in her house. In community theaters as well as local stages from early childhood, Zazie found her joy in grade school and grew into acting. The actress and dancer finally got her break-out role in 2010, when she played Rocky Blue alongside Bella Thorne in the TV show 'Shake It Up. Zendaya went vegetarian aged 11 when she came across a slaughterhouse during the road along with her father. Zendaya tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible to see all the animals being stuffed inside the slaughterhouse, ready to be slaughtered. It wasn't how I was eating my meat! Since then, she has been on a vegan diet.
