Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child with me, and other babies in the cradle, I was working 12 hour shifts sanding flooring and tearing off wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing started to seem logical, however it was still far from being finished. The home would require lots of time and a love to shop. To keep in my budget, I took my boys with me to look for hidden treasures at estate sales. Each week we would spend between Thursday and Saturday in estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. After that, I repainted and smoothed the driveway during the workweek. Furniture looked this way... which is where I found my love for restoring. I kept on restoring furniture even after we had decorated our house. I also had a booth at the market to sell objects. In the end, I had numerous pieces that I did not know what to do and outgrew the space. In my own home, I started hosting open houses where more than 1,000 people were able to come in and buy any item they liked on the 1st floor within a single weekend. Growing Days was created in this house. Growing Days was not only a thriving business but it was also a loving family. As a mom of a child, I found the right way to be able to begin my own company and being a decent mother. Growing Days just fit. Nora my 4th child was born in 2013. My business was booming but I was in need of a break. I decided to take a break from making vintage furniture, and slowed down my pace to be at home to raise the children. The time was right. It was only after several months when the phones began to call. There were calls from people asking me to assist them in decorating their homes and interiors. Most of them came into my residence during my furniture open houses. As I went along, I added customers to my client list one by one. But it wasn't long before I managed several clients, and had an extremely successful business of home renovation. When you first told me about my home renovation business I laughed. As I reflect on the situation I am laughing.
